Lochs on Eilean Iarmain Estate

Permits are available per day or per week.

Loch Bharabhaig and Loch Na Dubhraichean
These lochs offer brown trout between 2lb and 4lb, and some arctic charr also in loch na Dubhraichean.

A boat is available on Loch Bharabhaig. Ghillies may be available if required subject to arrangements in advance. A few rods are also available for hire if required at £5 per day. Flies may also be bought at the Estate Office.
Fishing is by fly only. These lochs must be booked specifically in advance (tel no 01471 833 266).

All fish caught may be kept or returned according to the preference of the angler.

Other Estate Lochs
There are many other lochs on the estate, which may be fished by permit. There is no limit on the number of rods and no requirement to book specific lochs after obtaining a permit. Loch an lasgach, Loch an Eilein and the Dubh Lochan are recommended. Fly, worm or spinner may be used on these lochs. There is no bag limit.

Rivers
Occasional sea trout can run the Eiseort and Ord rivers and these too can be fished by worm, fly or spinner. Permit required, but no limit on the number of rods.
