Lots to keep you busy
Beside the hotel, on the little harbour, is the headquarters of the award winning "Gaelic Whiskies", the only whisky company with its headquarters in the Hebrides. There is a small shop where you can have a free tasting of their connoisseurs blend and malt whiskies selection.
Also adjacent to the hotel is the ''Floraidh'' tweed and wool shop. You may buy cutting edge designs incorporating the subtle mix of Harris tweed and velvet. All garments are beautifully hand tailored in Scotland.

Just beyond is the Clan Donald Centre at Armadale Castle, with a visitor centre, and a fine arboretum and garden. In the north of the island is Dunbheagan Castle, and Portrigh, the capital of Skye.
