The Hotel
The hotel is decorated in cotton and linen chintzes, with traditional furniture. There are log fires in the reception rooms, and a wood panelled dining room where candlelit dinners can be enjoyed overlooking the bay and the island of Ornsay.
The Birlinn 2AA Rosette restaurant offers fine dining a la carte with a minimum of five choices for each course. The menu reflects our committment to providing a wide selection of local seafood and game.
The Praban bar offers draught and bottled beer, including the local real ale or our excellent selection of malt whiskies from all over Scotland. Throughout the year the bar has many themed food evenings and regular ceilidh nights of traditional Scottish music and Gaelic song.
The Talla Dearg (the red hall) adjacent to the hotel is used as an art gallery between April and October. A unique and intimate location where many artists exhibit their work in various styles and media including watercolours, oils and pastels inspired by Scottish landscapes.
